Today marks a significant milestone for us at Big Rock Coffee & Events as we celebrate our first anniversary in business. Over the past year, we have been privileged to serve our community with the finest coffee and create memorable events for our community.
We are truly grateful for the support we have received from our loyal patrons, partners, and team members who have been instrumental in our success.
As we look back on this past year, we are filled with gratitude for the relationships we have built and the memories we have created. We are excited for the future and the opportunities it holds for us to continue serving you with excellence.

Open Mic
Big Rock Coffee & Events presents Open Mic Night!
Join us for a night filled with amazing performances at our Open Mic Night. Whether you are a musician, poet, comedian, or have any other talent to showcase, this is your time to shine!
We have a full sound system (with Bluetooth), an amp, mics, music stands, and a keyboard.
Come share your creativity with a supportive audience or simply enjoy the show with a delicious drink in hand. All are welcome to participate or spectate. Let your talent be heard at our Open Mic Night!
Note: Sign-ups start at 6:00 PM on the night of the event - See Finley.

We are excited to invite you to join us for a fun-filled evening of board games at Big Rock Coffee & Events. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the world of board games, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a night of friendly competition and camaraderie.
Come alone or bring your friends. Bring a game with you or use one of the shop’s games (Settlers of Catan, Battleship, Chess, Scrabble, decks of cards).
Refreshments and beverages will be available for purchase to keep you fueled throughout the evening.

Open Mic Night
Got a talent? Show it off! Your community wants to see and support you. We have a 9x16 stage that’s equipped with mics, music stands, guitar stand, an amp, Bluetooth connection, a keyboard, and everything you need to be successful. Whether you’re a singer, a poet, a juggler, a comedian, a magician… the list goes on… we want you!
Stroke Awareness: A Presentation & Panel Discussion with Ascension St. Mary's
Are you stroke savvy? Do you like free stuff? Come have coffee and snacks with the Ascension St. Mary’s stroke team to learn about stroke, test your knowledge, and win prizes!
YMCA Camp Timbers Camp Song Sing Along
Camp is one of the most magical places on earth! Bring your kiddos out for camp songs, skits, a free craft and a s’mores hot chocolate. Camp Timbers staff will have an information table set up from 5:30pm - 6:30pm for families to ask questions, sign up for camp, or work on a camp craft. At 6:30pm the songs and skits begin!
ALEX: The Comeback His Fan-Club Wants
Alex takes the stage once more for his adoring fans. He plays. He sings. Honestly, what more can you ask for? Be there or be square.
Song-scapes and Poetry Plantings with Zach Chludil of Rootnote
Join us for a night with Zach Chludil with original music and poetry for the soul.
A Conversation with Families Against Narcotics
Whether you struggle with addiction, love someone who struggles, or are simply a concerned community member, this event is an opportunity to be open and honest about this very real, but often taboo, challenge. From 1pm - 2pm, representatives from Families Against Narcotics will have an information table set up, and starting at 2pm there will be a presentation about addiction, NARCAN (available here at Big Rock), and resources for recovery. After the presentation there will be time for a Q&A and community discussion.
Love Stories: A Community Storytelling Event
You are invited to share a story about love with your community. It can be a romantic story about your partner, a lost love, or a desired love. I can be a platonic story about learning to love yourself or an abiding friendship. Hey, tell us about your meet cute with your fur friend! Nick and Amanda will share their wild beginning after drinks are made. There will be Valentine’s drink and goodie special available. This event is appropriate for ages 13+
Open Mic
If you sing, play an instrument, write poetry, lip sync like a rock star, juggle, dance or any other talent you want to share, bring it on out for Open Mic! All ages are welcome. We have a sound system (with bluetooth), amp, keyboard and a 9'x16' stage.
This is a free event for all ages.

The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Ginna Hoben
Join us for this hilarious, heartwarming play about one woman's journey to start over again after she catches her fiancé kissing another woman. It is produced and performed by Finley Davis and friends. It is a free event and appropriate for ages 13+ (has adult language).
The Missing Visteria Book Reading & Signing
Come celebrate and support local author Caroline Stevenson. She’ll be signing copies of her first published novel - The Missing Visteria - from 1pm - 2pm. She share an excerpt and hold a brief Q&A from 2pm - 3pm. Books will be available for purchase. This is a FREE event and appropriate for all ages.
Small Business Saturday Vendor Pop-Up
Support local at Big Rock Coffee & Events! Vendors will have expanded merch selections for the day. Get your Christmas shopping done and impress with locally made gifts.
A Night with Alex and Hannah
Join us for a night of music and comedy with Alex & Hannah! This is a free event. Appropriate for ages 13+
Halloween
We'll be open an hour later and have special Halloween drinks and goodies for $1 each. Come on in and start your trick or treating with a warm drink or stop by after and warm up!
Friday the 13th, OPEN MIC NIGHT
We're kicking off Open Mic Night with a spooky bang! What better day to start than Friday the 13th? If you sing, play an instrument or have a talent you want to share, bring it on out for Open Mic!
Whether you perform or not, if you wear a costume you'll receive 20% off your purchase (does not include vendor merchandise). For those who want to participate, there will be a costume contest with the winner earning a prize.
This is a free event.
Residual Damage & And Other Tales of Love and Life
Finely Davis performs a collection of plays by Michael Oakes and Peter Malicki. Run time is approx. 50 minutes. There will be a talkback with the performer afterwards. This is a FREE event and appropriate for ages 13+
